Thanks for visiting our site. At right is a preview of our most recent edition.
Below are stories and documents we've uploaded for random reasons, many of which were not suited for the print edition (usually because of length). We don't currently upload the vast majority of stories that appear in our newspaper since we believe doing so cheats the advertisers of our print edition. Thus, in order to protect our content and to preserve the value of our print edition, we wait quite a while after the date of publication to upload full PDF issues of The Observer. If you enjoy The Observer, we ask that you please consider supporting Oak Ridge's only locally owned newspaper by subscribing for home delivery. And please feel free to browse past issues in our archives section.
Also, don't forget to take a look at our Events Calendar for things to do in the area, as well as Stan's Blog, which you can subscribe to for free. |

To the Editor:
It is an honor and privilege to be one of the leaders in a fund-raising effort to equip the new weight room facility at Oak Ridge High School. I truly appreciate all of the fund raisers’ and donors’ efforts and participation to date. I wish I had space to name them all here, but be assured these efforts; gifts and individuals will receive formal recognition.
