Yet, another successor after the Surface Pro 4 is announced, the Surface Pro 5.

Microsoft's Surface Book pricing has never made much sense, given that the company has no problem charging $600 for an extra 8GB of RAM and 256GB of additional SSD storage.

It was then reported that amid no announcements about Microsoft's Surface Pro 5 at the MWC 2017, the tablet could be announced along with the Windows 10 Creators Update.

The Book One and the Surface Book both run on the Windows 10 Pro operating system.

Surface UEFI (v106.1427.768.0) improves system stability and performance.

Intel (R) Management Engine Interface (v11.6.0.1042) improves system stability on startup.

Surface NVM Express Controller (v11.0.0.1) improves storage performance. Just flip the Surface Book's nifty fulcrum hinge and you can use it as either a fully-functional laptop or detach the 13.5-inch monitor from the keyboard and you've got a ready-to-roll tablet.

Other features were also reported that the Microsoft's Surface Pro 5 would have 2K display variants and 4K for those with a high budget.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M (v21.21.13.7667) which also improves the system stability. Nvidia's Optimus technology should mitigate these issues in a GeForce-equipped system by routing workloads to the more power-efficient integrated graphics whenever possible, but pushing all workloads through the integrated GPU will save on some battery life.

The Surface USB Hub Firmware Update (v1.0.519.0) which utilizes the power of the USB hub in the device and stability.

While it remains unclear whether Microsoft will, indeed, release the Surface Pro 5 next month, it is also alleged that the upcoming Microsoft device will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which can improve its battery life and overall performance in the event that this turns out to be true. The Intel Management Engine Interface (v11.6.0.1042) - focuses on improving system stability on startup.

Meanwhile, for the Surface Book also improved that performance and stability, there are updates that are same with the Surface Pro 4 and had some different driver update.

Microsoft has also chose to sell the entry-level Surface Pro 4 sans the Surface Pen.
