Bioware and EA's Mass Effect Andromeda, the fourth entry in the series, is due out tomorrow- but if you want your appetite whetted until then, we have you covered.
Ian Frazier, the lead designer of Mass Effect: Andromeda responded to a tweet in regards to the day one patch for Andromeda.
Andromeda looks incredible on PC, and runs mostly fine, PC players known how valuable it is to run the game at the best performance possible.
Although it's unlikely to actually succeed in getting people out of school or work - unless they have a really understanding principal or boss - the Mass Effect: Andromeda doctor's note is a bit of fun. "And in addition to being a one-stop shop for game configuration and optimization, GeForce Experience will also enable you to record and stream Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay, and much more, making it an indispensable application".
The frame-rate comparison begins at 4:20 of the video, and it shows that Mass Effect Andromeda is capped at 30fps, but there are drops on both consoles, typically in the same areas.
Nvidia continues: "If you wish to crank the settings and resolution way up, consider SLI configurations, which are now supported in Mass Effect: Andromeda with the release of the new Game Ready driver".
