Aaron Hernandez's lawyers prepare for final days of double murder trial

The jury in the double-murder trial of former National Football League star Aaron Hernandez has been sent home for the day after hearing instructions from the judge on the law.

One of the final witnesses called by prosecutors was the cousin of their star witness.

Bradley also claims that Hernandez shot him in the head and left him for dead the year after the Boston double murders because he and Hernandez fell out at a Boston strip club. Hernandez is also charged with witness intimidation in connection to Bradley's shooting. He then added, it was proof of "reasonable doubt ladies and gentlemen ... reasonable doubt lives here ... throughout this entire case".

Jurors are expected to begin deliberations late Thursday afternoon after the judge gives them instructions on the law.

On Friday, jurors saw graphic autopsy photos of the two men Hernandez is accused of killing in 2012. Knowing that Hernandez has killed someone else shows that he's capable of something so dastardly, and it could lessen the gravity of sending a guy to jail for the rest of his life, since that's where he already is.

For comparison, the Transportation Department requires airlines pay passengers in exchange for being involuntarily bumped. The passenger, David Dao, was already seated on the plane when he was asked to volunteer to give up his seat.

Daniel De Abreu and Safiro Furtado, two of the car's five passengers, were killed.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft testified during that trial, in 2015, that Hernandez had told him directly that he was innocent of Lloyd's death. "You know who committed this crime".

Hernandez is now serving a life sentence for the 2013 murder of semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd.

Hernandez's defense team called several witnesses on Monday, including the manager of a Florida strip club, a Boston street sweeper, a police officer and two people who were at the nightclub where the confrontation that allegedly led to the killings occurred.

Hernandez's attorneys have pointed the finger at the state's star witness, a former friend of Hernandez who was with him the night of the shootings.
