Galaxy S8 Facial Unlocking feature not so secure after all

In fact Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Microsoft Edition are available to pre-order now and for purchase beginning April 21 at U.S. Microsoft Store locations.

The S8 Special Edition is now only available in Microsoft's USA retail stores and isn't mentioned on the company's online page. "This customization ensures customers a best-in-class productivity experience with Microsoft applications such as Office, OneDrive, Cortana, Outlook and more". Interestingly, the device will have to be unboxed in-store and connected to the retailer's Wi-Fi, which will start loading Microsoft apps into the device.

After all that Galaxy Note 7 burning fiasco yesterday, Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy s8 and S8 Plus smartphone.

In case you didn't know, these price tags are much better than what other carriers offer, although Verizon has valued the standard S8 at $720 and $840 for the Galaxy S8 Plus. The Microsoft edition handsets however, will bring in more bloatware as Cortana and Outlook will be added to the Samsung devices.

A war is being waged inside the Samsung Galaxy S8's curved display, a war of the AIs.

A YouTube channel named iDeviceHelp tried testing the Galaxy S8's advertised face recognition software. Like unlocking your phone, you have three ways to do that on the Galaxy S8.

In the USA the phones are running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processors while in other countries it will sport Samsung's own Exynos octa-core chip. It is again similar to what we see in Samsung Galaxy S8. Nevertheless, there are still no confirmation as to whether or not the Microsoft edition Galaxy S8 will reach global markets.

Both the handsets will boast 4GB of RAM and come with 64GB inbuilt storage while also supporting expandable storage via microSD card (up to 256GB).
