John Oliver and Catheter Cowboy Explain Sexual Harassment

After Fox News host Bill O'Reilly ended his Tuesday night show with a mysterious vacation announcement, MSNBC's "Last Word" host Lawrence O'Donnell gave an overview of next steps for the program now plagued with scandal.

Ms. Walsh told AP that she came forward after learning from a Times reported that numerous women who filed sexual harassment cases against Mr. O'Reilly were restricted by gag orders.

Fox News representatives also told BuzzFeed News that O'Reilly was planning to return on April 24.

Though Fox News co-president Bill Shine wants to keep O'Reilly, the decision to keep the embattled host on air is up to the Murdoch family, New York Magazine's report adds.

"The worst part of my job is being a target for those who would harm me and my employer, the Fox News Channel".

They did not receive pay outs, and Tantaros is now in a legal battle with Fox News and former CEO Roger Ailes, who was forced to resign in July after another sexual harassment scandal. Companies' advertising time on "The O'Reilly Factor" has been cut by more than half since the Times report, according to an analysis released Tuesday by Kantar Media.

The controversial personality has recently seen his ratings soar, even after news that he paid $13 million to settle sexual harassment claims over the course of several years was reported by The New York Times.

"There's sort of a contempt for O'Reilly from some of his colleagues, particularly female colleagues", Folkenflik told Morning Edition last week. But that uptick does not necessarily mean that advertisers who left "The O'Reilly Factor" are returning.

Mr. O'Reilly denied the sexual harassment accusations against him.

The show quickly became a hit with Bill O'Reilly offering his perspective and commentary on hot-button issues throughout America and the world.

Given the fact that more than 60 advertisers dropped O'Reilly's show and "The O'Reilly Factor" was forced to air over 10 minutes of extra editorial content to make up for the lack of advertising, it isn't clear how Fox can continue justifying his presence at the network.

After Walsh registered a complaint with Fox News' corporate hotline last week, the network's parent company, 21st Century Fox, announced Sunday it would have law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison conduct an investigation into Walsh's claims.

"I told them we really appreciate that and let's get going as soon as possible". "I like to take some time off around Easter", he said.
