Kane: Spurs can put more doubt in Chelsea minds

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte accepted Tottenham Hotspur were back in the title race after suffering a potentially damaging loss at the hands of his predecessor Jose Mourinho.

Spurs cruised to a 4-0 triumph at home to Bournemouth on Saturday to claim a club-record seventh successive Premier League win, and Chelsea's defeat at Manchester United the following day enabled them to close to within four points of the table-toppers.

And it all means that, with just six games of the season remaining, Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs are only four points adrift, and given that they are on a wonderful seven-match winning streak, the Premier League title race isn't over just yet.

And Langley said on Chelsea TV, when referring to those who say it could be squeeky bum time for the Blues: "I haven't got squeaky bum time [for Chelsea], Spurs have got squeaky bum time".

"We'll bounce back. There is still lots to play for this season".

Tottenham's incessant pursuit and impressive recent form has given them hope of a first league title since 1961, but if they are to achieve that, they will have to win on Saturday.

Chelsea, who face Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-finals on Sunday morning (Singapore time), resume their EPL campaign against Southampton on April 26. "We still have a four-point advantage which at the beginning of the season we would have taken at this stage", Begovic said.

The House has also passed a bill that would require city officials to file more detailed financial disclosure forms. The Buzz asked Senate President Joe Negron if he has any doubt the Legislature will finish on time.

"It is normal that sometimes the referee can see and sometimes he cannot see so we cannot judge him because also we had some mistakes in the game. The league is open and we have a 50 per cent probability to win it".

Vertonghen said: "Chelsea is one of the best teams in the league this season and they played great and Eden is obviously a very special player".

"It's disappointing because we've been on a good run".

However, Spurs are at their best due to an English core of players that have been playing the north Londoners into this position.

But win or lose the semi-final at Wembley, the Blues' main focus remains the Premier League title.

"We all know the next game and how you go for the final or you don't go and for this reason, you must put 200 percent to reach the final", he said.
