"The Parkes Shire will welcome a number of guest speakers, including Captain Anthony Klenthis from the Royal Australian Navy, who will acknowledge the 75th anniversary of the 1942 World War II campaigns, and the Battle of the Coral Sea, and share an insight into his time in the navy at the 9am commemorative service in Cooke Park".

The Anzac Day march will take place at 8.35am, travelling up Welcome Street to Chamberlain Square and Clarinda Street to Cooke Park for the commemoration service at 9am.
