Easy choice: Browns CB Haden wants Garrett with No

The 2017 NFL Draft is quickly approaching, and the Chicago Bears are keeping themselves busy with numerous workouts with draft prospects. Momentum is building about the Bears considering a trade. Similarly, being impacted by the teams picking ahead of them creates a gamble related to possibly trading up or down from #12.

Nate Ulrich, Cleveland Browns beat writer: Let's pump the brakes for a moment.

Like the Bears, the Browns have been linked to a couple of quarterbacks as well.

And we're really starting to see some smokescreens heat up as teams try to make moves, including the Browns, who reportedly are waffling with their pick up at the top of the draft.

Whatever the Browns do, Sashi Brown has not taken off the table the possibility of putting a first-round pick on the table for a player who could potentially put his name on the back of that neverending jersey and leave it there for a while. Cleveland is concerned that the Jets or the Bills (at pick 10) would take Trubisky before Cleveland is on the clock at 12. For years now, the Jets have gotten little to no production out of the position, relegating it to simply an extra layer of blocking protection for their quarterback and ground game. Therefore they may gamble on Trubisky, leaving Garrett to drop from the top spot. Mitch Trubisky, Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes all have their strengths but they all have glaring weaknesses as well.

This scenario would put the Chicago Bears in a pickle.

All the really good quarterbacks seem to have a really good tight end.

Second, the Browns also have the 12th pick in the Draft. The Bears are included among those teams.

Thus, making a trade for the second overall choice is less likely. "Jamal Adams.no matter what - except in the event of more draft picks". This is an interesting and not at all surprising report that sheds a light on the current Bears' thought process concerning this incredibly crucial draft for this regime. The latest National Football League rumors are suggesting that the Chicago Bears could be one of the teams the Niners are engaged in trade talks with.

It could be that the Browns havent received the offers they were hoping in exchange for Brock. Brown, who has the most leverage in the draft, telling the world a team called about the No. 1 pick to take a quarterback could be created to get a team to increase its trade offer and/or push another prospect down the board.

One team closely monitoring the situation are the San Francisco 49ers. That's probably why Lynch said the 49ers would "listen to anything".

He had a job, or at least a guaranteed contract, but no place that wanted him to actually play.

This scenario only happens if the Cleveland Browns take Mitchell Trubisky instead of Myles Garrett.
