A new high: Poll finds record support for pot legalization

Seven states now have legalized recreational use.

Of the respondents who use marijuana, 95 percent have told their spouses and close friends about their own marijuana consumption, and 72 percent have told their parents. While legalization should help Canadian marijuana providers, could it also provide a boost to US marijuana stocks?

And most Americans also think marijuana is less risky than most other drugs, particularly those who say they have tried it. The nation's most populous state simply decided it would stop prosecuting sick people for using pot. He could follow the (mostly) hands-off approach that the Obama administration did. The U.S. government expressed outrage and dispatched drug agents to the places growing and selling pot, but those sporadic raids couldn't keep the wall intact. He said lawmakers here are well aware that there "will be lots of people from CT going into those states to buy marijuana", and know that could cost millions in lost tax revenue. Generally speaking, though, global marijuana prohibitions are thawing just as they are in the U.S.

A few countries have authorized cultivation but not the sale of pot. It now serves clients in all regulated US states, Canada, Spain and Australia. Majorities of Republicans, Democrats, and independents all agree.

Volunteers working for the DCMJ, a Washington, DC group calling for Cannabis to be removed from the Controlled Substances Act, roll hundreds and hundreds of marijuana joints on April 13, 2017 in preparation for their April 20th (420) protest that gathers at "High Noon" at the US Capitol calling on legislators to relax marijuana laws. In response, marijuana businesses in some states started coming out of the shadows, behaving like traditional retailers, complete with storefronts and advertising.

The government legislation did not offer any specifics on tax measures for marijuana.

"I think that once we see the legalization momentum take hold in any state, it provides a signal to young people that this is acceptable and safe". Even if recreational pot is passed in the state legislature, federal law states the drug is illegal under the Drug Enforcement Agency's (DEA) drug scheduling, putting it next to drugs like heroin in the highest level of offense - schedule one.

Results from the multi-center study showed that patients with a decrease in PCT less than or equal to 80 percent during the first four days following diagnosis of severe sepsis or septic shock had a two-fold increased risk of death as compared to those who experienced a decrease in PCT greater than 80 percent1.

Confused? So is the industry, which continues to grow despite the uncertainty.

The legalization of marijuana in IL is not a question of if, but when.

The delay in implementation is meant to give ME officials time to create a licensing procedure and regulations for retail sales of marijuana. Conservative says marijuana is a 'dangerous drug, ' vows to undo Liberal plan to legalize it. Canada is moving to legalize marijuana-and it may violate global drug law to do it.

Of course, that could change at any time.
