Dick Beardsley and Inge Simonsen lead the first London Marathon

Hi, I'm running the London marathon this month.

The 29-year-old hairdresser said: "I am a little bit nervous about Sunday but I think the fact that I am running for a charity that has helped my family in the past is going to keep me going and get me through it".

Another top Kenyan female runner, Rita Jeptoo, a three-time victor of the Boston Marathon, was banned in 2016 for four-years after also testing positive for EPO.

Cornwall Hospice Care have five runners taking part in Sunday's race, including marathon debutants Gareth Rowett, Jane Appleton, Leanne Smith and Hannah Adams, whilst Gemma Pateman is back for her second London Marathon. I promised myself that I would do anything I can to give back and raise money for the unbelievable charities that help people who are battling mental health issues. If we've got it right ... we'll have captured the challenging reality of mental health problems, and how they impact on everyday life.

"It was emotional doing the small run and I was getting a little upset but now I'm so excited".

Thousands of runners will be heading to the capital on Sunday for one of the world's most famous races. "She can't say she didn't know".

"He said: "It makes a real difference to have people cheering you on - it gives you a lift just when your body is giving up", said Andy, who hopes to finish in around four hours".

"I want to win here".

The Prince, who was just 12 when Diana, Princess of Wales, was killed in a vehicle crash in Paris on August 31, 1997 said of his mother: "I think from her perspective she would be overwhelmed and hugely encouraged by the fact that the United Kingdom - not known for wanting to talk about mental health issues - has suddenly got to this point".

Other experienced marathon exponents running for Felixstowe include 41-year-old Robin Harper (3:12.18 PB) and Dave Solomon (2:54 PB), despite breaking his ankle only 11 weeks ago. I am really looking forward to this challenge and raising money for this worthy cause.

The DJ said: "The scary thing about social media sometimes is you put more pressure (on yourself) because you're trying to be this flawless person, and they all look so lovely and out of a magazine".
