First Game of Thrones Season 7 Photos are Here!

Ready to rule Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister and Nikolaj Coster Waldau as Jaime Lannister

Ready to rule Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister and Nikolaj Coster Waldau as Jaime Lannister

On Thursday, HBO released a handful of photos that show off almost all of the most popular Game of Thrones characters.

Are you excited for the new season of Game of Thrones?

Newly released photos from the set of Game of Thrones Season 7 confirm that Tormund (Kristofer Hivju) will, indeed, continue his love-struck behavior and attempt to woo the business-minded Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) once and for all. So there's no doubt this new photo of Tormund raising a frankly hilarious eyebrow at Brienne and smiling will have the same result. Of course Stannis isn't using it anymore, so it could be a pretty easy spot for Dany's army to take over and use as her home base while planning an attack on King's Landing. Some have commented that Tyrion is looking exhausted as if he's been through enough already. At this point, winter is here and to survive, those who are left will have to fight. This season, however, production had to be delayed in order to shoot during the winter months, to create the prophesied winter season that we've been building to for years now - in both the HBO series, and creator George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Fire and Ice" book series. To be fair, they aren't the most exciting images.

The 15 photos released show everything from Cersei (Lena Headey) sitting on the Iron Throne with her brother Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) at her side, to Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) gathering with her supporters Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel), Varys (Conleth Hill) and Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson), to a look at the breakout from Season 6, Lyanna Mormont (Bella Ramsey). Then be sure to tell us what you think will happen when Season 7 premieres on HBO on July 16.
