10 cent library book sale is April 28 and 29

The semi-annual used book sale sponsored by the Friends of the Ridgefield Library will be held at the library the first and second weekends of May.

We also want to acknowledge Save on Foods at Terra Nova for their donation of the food and refreshments that fuel our volunteers over the weekend and to thank the student volunteers who assist us throughout the sale. Become a member for $10 to join the preview. On Sunday, May 14, books for adults will be half price. On Sunday, that price is reduced to $10 per bag.

Silent auction bidding begins at 9 a.m. Friday and runs through 2 p.m. Saturday.

The sale's proceeds will fund the Williamsburg Regional Library.

The sale will be Thursday, April 20, from noon - 7 p.m.; Friday, April 21, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

In the past year, Friends of WRL have given more than $150,000 to WRL for library collections, programs, community concerts, reducing the hold lists for popular titles, and supporting programs for children, according to the release. All three days take place inside the Williamsburg Community Building, located across the street from the Williamsburg Library.
