Only 2 Percent of Americans Who Voted for Trump Regret It

That means that Trump would beat Clinton 43 percent to 40 percent in a hypothetical rematch.

The overall ratings for former presidents Barack Obama (61 percent), George W. Bush (56 percent) and Bill Clinton (52 percent) near the 100-day mark far exceed Trump's ratings, which mark the lowest in the poll's history.

But, 96% of those who voted for Trump, say they'd do it again.

Of the self-reported Trump voters, just 2% said they regretted their decision, while 96% said it was the right thing to do.

In the actual 2016 election, Trump won the electoral college but lost the popular vote to Clinton by almost 3 million votes, or about two percentage points.

Late Sunday, Trump tweeted his reaction to the newly-released polls, saying that they "are very good considering that much of the media is FAKE and nearly always negative".

US President Donald Trump has dismissed a poll showing a low approval rating of his presidency. Trump tweeted last week that the 100 days point was "ridiculous".

Of course, this reaction resulted in Americans reminding Trump that, well, he did in fact lose the popular vote, with others also taking advantage of the opportunity to continue criticizing him for his frequent trips to the golf course.

For almost 100 days, President Trump has rattled Washington and been chastened by its institutions.

"Trump's first months in office have produced some tangible successes", the Post reported.

The Post also notes that Trump has issued Executive Actions on "trade, immigration, climate and government organization", but does not explain that those orders keep campaign promises to protect American businesses and workers, roll back regulations on climate change that are harming American businesses and workers, and efforts to deconstruct the administrative state by reforming government organization.

The Washington Post/ABC poll surveyed 1,004 adults by phone from April 17 to 20 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
