Leaked iPhone 8 schematic hints at dual camera and wireless charging

Apple is planning to launch two other iPhones alongside this OLED iPhone which will be similar to the predecessors iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

There's a new leaked schematic of the iPhone 8, and it appears to confirm previous reports about Apple's next-generation flagship handset sporting wireless charging technology and a vertically-aligned dual-camera setup.

Recently, the possibility of a rear-facing scanner has been rumored, in order to allow Apple to shrink the bezel on the iPhone 8, but there's no sign of it in the diagram below, shared by Benjamin Geskin.

However, there's no escaping the challenges Apple faces in integrating the security tech, should it opt for an edge-to-edge OLED display with no physical home button. The latter of this type pointed out that the new iPhone will have the fingerprint sensor in the back. However, he obviously did not elaborate on whether this was for the high-end iPhone 8 we are all expecting to be announced or a potentially lower specification iPhone 7s, but he sure seems convinced at least one iPhone will charge wirelessly in 2017.

Today a sketch shows the look and design of the iPhone 8 casing, with no fingerpoint sensor on the back. There is also a rumor that the vertical camera module would make the handset ideal for AR games. There is some suggestion that getting the fingerprint scanner to work under the glass might significantly delay the launch of the smartphone. Further, as per Brian White (analyst), the 5.8-inch iPhone 8 will be available for pre-orders along with the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone devices, however, the availability of the 5.8-inch variant is likely to happen sometime in October-November. Lets hope that, in future there will be moments when we will have more accurate leaks and we will also have access to real photos of the devices.
