North Korea says detains another American citizen reports KCNA

It was the second time within one month that North Korea has arrested American citizens for allegedly carrying out hostile activities against Pyongyang.

North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that Kim Hak-song, an official of the Pyongyang University of Science and Technology, was arrested last Saturday.

The other two USA nationals now being held in the North are college student Otto Warmbier and Korean-American pastor Kim Dong Chul, who received lengthy prison terms for "crimes against the state" and spying, respectively.

Unlike his father who reportedly used American hostages to bring America to the bargaining table, Kim Jong Un appears to be using American hostages, in part, as human shields, hoping to protect himself against American air strikes targeting his regime and its nuclear and missile programs.

Few details on Kim Hak-song or his arrest were immediately available.

"Professor Kim was a man who would call North Korea as his own country".

The reported detention comes as tensions on the Korean peninsula run high, driven by harsh rhetoric from Pyongyang and Washington over the North's pursuit of nuclear weapons in response to what it says is a threat of US-instigated war.

North Korea has detained a fourth American citizen for "acts of hostility" against the country. This would bring the tally to four USA citizens held by the reclusive nation.

Rinne was still able to stop 30 shots, but two short rebounds found themselves in the back of the net thanks to that traffic. The Predators built a 3-1 advantage in the series, but three of the first four games were decided by one goal. ".

Kim HAK Sleep, according to the Agency, worked at the Pyongyang University of science and technology.

- In 2011, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter visited North Korea to win the release of American Aijalon Gomes, who had been sentenced to eight years of hard labor for crossing illegally into North Korea from China.

He was detained at the capital's airport as he tried to leave the country after teaching for several weeks at the university.

"North Korea is persecuting their savior, a person who came to help them". "The relevant Department to fully investigate his crimes", - said in the message.

It has carried out a series of missile launches this year and President Donald Trump has said military action against the rogue state has not been ruled out.

Pyongyang has threatened to carry out a new nuclear tests against United Nations sanctions.
