Achieving the number-one spot in the United Kingdom charts on Friday, the British musician then went on to take the top billing in America, the Netherlands, Belgium and Australia. He is also the second United Kingdom male artist to arrive at #1 with a debut album, joining his fellow 1D alum Zayn. The 230,000 units also tops the 166,000 copies Sam Smith sold for his debut In the Lonely Hour back in 2014, giving Harry the largest debut for a male United Kingdom artist in Nielsen Music's 25-year history, regardless of chart position.

The Cleveland rapper's album "Bloom" has landed at No. 8 on the latest Billboard 200 chart, selling just 57,000 units in its first week.

Frontman of British brand "One Direction" and teenage heart throb Harry Styles saw his eponymous debut album go straight to the top of the United Kingdom charts on Friday, selling almost 57,000 copies.

The Billboard 200 album chart tallies units from album sales, song sales (10 songs equal one album) and streaming activity (1,500 streams equal one album).

Rag'n'Bone Man's Human is at number three on the albums chart, while Paramore's After Laughter and Weller's A Kind Revolution have debuted in fourth and fifth place respectively.
