The New "Spider-Man: Homecoming" Trailer

Sony and Marvel have just released a third (and possibly final) trailer for Homecoming, and we get to see a bunch of new stuff without having to get spoiled any further.

I thought we'd all like a still of Donald Glover's character telling Spider-Man to get better at being intimidating. This becomes Peter's chance to prove himself a hero to Stark, or so he thinks.

"I'm sick of Mr. Stark treating me like a kid". "Anyone concerned that Spider-man's new suit is too "techy" shouldn't read Civil War".

Homecoming also stars Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, Martin Starr, and Hannibal Buress.

Perhaps most importantly, the new trailer gives us more detail on the variety of Tom Holland's version of the character, clueing us in on the potential depth that we'll get with this iteration of the web-slinger. "People are pissed off about Spider-man's tech suit not being "real" Spider-man".

There is also the worldwide trailer that I am actually liking more, especially with the way it begins. Let's take a look.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7, 2017. While one focused on a young Peter Parker becoming Marvel's most notorious superhero, the other offered some interesting information about Vulture. Ouch! That's some expert-level corporate synergy on Marvel's end. And when your mentor is Tony Stark, you're bound to be surrounded with gadgets and gizmos aplenty. The new trailer includes a look at the new Spider-Man costume, including its nifty OS and what appears to be a training wheels protocol implemented by Stark to stop Peter from accessing all of its capabilities.

Time for a field trip!

There's also a field trip to Washington where Spider-Man will have to save his classmates at the top of the Washington Monument and possibly have to explain what the heck he's doing in D.C. Familiar webbing stretches forward to give our hero that extra aerodynamic edge he needs to take a leap and websling his way around NY.

We've seen it first with "Jarvis", and then with "Friday" in Avengers: Age of Ultron: Tony Stark is fond of his in-ear artificial intelligence guiding him inside his super-suit. Web-wings are a common addition to most major Spider-verse costumes, including Silk's and Spider-Gwen's.

Much like the global trailer for "Spider-Man: Homecoming", the worldwide poster puts the focus on Spidey and the Vulture.
