Iran accuses U.S. of spreading 'Iranophobia' selling arms to 'dangerous terrorists'

Iranian president Hassan Rouhani has described relations with the U.S. as "a curvy road".

"We are still waiting for new U.S. administration to be established in terms of positions, agenda and thoughts, so we can have a precise judgment", Rouhani said while commenting about possible talks between Tehran and Washington under the Trump administration.

"US President Trump saw almost 45 million Iranians went to the ballot boxes, but he chose to visit a country [Saudi Arabia] that does not know what election is, and its people have never seen a ballot box", he noted.

Meanwhile, Rouhani described Trump's summit with Arab leaders on Sunday as "just a show with no practical or political value of any kind".

The president added that "the issue of terrorism can not be solved through giving money to superpowers".

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who spearheaded the nuclear negotiations, reacted sarcastically, comparing this weekend's elections in Iran to the lack of democracy in Saudi Arabia. Americans do not know our region and the problem is that those who are advising the Americans are unfortunately either rulers who are misguiding the United States, or buying people in the US. Raisi had the support of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and could attack Rouhani for Iran's high unemployment.

Leake leads Cardinals to 6-1 win over Dodgers
In Philadelphia, Charlie Blackmon hit a pair of two-run homers and German Marquez tossed six effective innings for Colorado. For comparison, LA ace Clayton Kershaw allowed 6.31 hits per nine innings in 2014 when he won the Cy Young and MVP awards.

"For decades, Iran has fueled the fires of sectarian conflict and terror. I hope the Saudi government chooses the right path", Rouhani told Iranian and foreign reporters in his first press conference after re-election. From condemnation of Rouhani's criticism of the revolutionary Guards on his campaign trail and TV debates, to cartoons of Trump pushing Rohani under an anvil of war, the conservative faction and press are having a field day. "The Iranian regime represents the tip of the spear of global terrorism", he said.

Iran was waiting until after the election to hold its first worldwide auction of oil-development rights, Iranian Students News Agency reported on May 16, citing Ali Kardor, managing director of state-run National Iranian Oil Co. "Our missiles are for peace and for defence", he said. That's when Saudi Arabia executed a prominent Shiite cleric and protesters in Iran attacked two of the kingdom's diplomatic posts.

Iran and Azerbaijan enjoy good relations and coordination, said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who was re-elected in the May 19 presidential election.

Iran and the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council - the United States, Britain, France, China and Russian Federation - plus Germany signed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on July 14, 2015 and started implementing it on January 16, 2016.

Sadr's remarks came in a letter in response to a question by one of his supporters about his position regarding the victory of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to a second term as head of the country. "But maybe in one situation they achieved a partial success and that was the nuclear negotiations, where we achieved a win-win result, and that was to the benefit of Iran, the United States, P5+1 and the whole world and if the USA chooses another way, it will undoubtedly fail again".
