White House may have lawyers to approve President Trump's tweets

Donald Trump returned late Saturday from his first international trip as US president geared up to combat concerns over aides’ ties to Russia

Whether or not Trump will sign on to a new Twitter strategy remains to be seen-but it does seem like an unlikely shift to many.

However, aides and officials had hoped that Trump would be more cautious as president, but this has not been the case.

The Journal report specifically cites the examples of 1) his infamous "wiretapping" tweet about his predecessor Barack Obama, and 2) his suggestion that his conversations with James Comey may have been taped.

The report comes among speculations that the White House has major changes in store when Trump returns to Washington this weekend from his first trip overseas.

Meetings devoted to White House operations are scheduled for next week, after the president returns from his overseas trip, officials said.

Corey Lewandowski, Trump's former campaign manager, is also expected to be part of the effort. Bannon and Trump's chief of staff, Reince Priebus, have been laying the groundwork for the plan this week, they added.

In his Fox News interview, Lewandowski blasted media coverage of Trump's administration and ongoing investigations into Russian election meddling as "false" and "negative", saying the White House needs a war room to push back against critical news coverage.

The paper also reported that a senior staff shake-up could be in the works.

The White House appeared to be playing around with that idea and others before Trump left town earlier this month.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the deputy press secretary who filled for Spicer as he caught up with military reserve duty, is rumored to be his replacement.
