Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign from office forthwith to discharge the moral burden, which his perceived incapacitation has placed on him.

President Muhammadu Buhari's zeal to make sure that the Nigerian youths are taken care of made him contest multiple times, his special adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has disclosed.

"While praying for our president to recover very quickly, why is he finding it hard to be morally upright and resign, knowing the hardship his redundancy is causing the economy and the masses", Fayose questioned. "‎ His absence allows others to suppress and oppress others and that means he is allowing others ‎to suppress their fellow human beings", Mr. Fayose said.

"We need an active President with the country's numerous challenges".

Before her departure through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, the President's wife thanked Nigerians for their support and prayers for the quick recovery of her husband.

"We can not wait again for somebody to hold us to ransom".

"There are many governments in one and they are clueless. He owes us the duty to tell us the state of his health", the governor said.

President Buhari has been in London for medical treatment for an undisclosed illness for about three weeks.

"He (Fayose) has been quarrelling with everybody".

"He has always been insulting the president and disparaging a man old enough to be his father". We are not like that. APC controls 24 states, PDP governs 11 while APGA has one state.

Mr. Saraki, in a statement issued on Wednesday by his spokesperson, Yusuph Olaniyonu, said he chose to support Mr. Buhari when the latter indicated interest to run for president. People are suffering, they are exhausted of his ways.
