Hillary Clinton Still Won't Take Responsibility for Her Election Loss

"It was bankrupt, it was on the verge of insolvency, its data was mediocre to poor, nonexistent, wrong. I inherit nothing from the Democratic Party", Clinton said during an interview Wednesday hosted by the technology site ReCode.

I think it's a combination of all these factors that led to Hillary Clinton's defeat, plus the ingenious and even terrifying way Donald Trump was able to harness bigotry, sexism and economic anxiety to bulldoze his way to the White House.

"Private mode be damned, this is too important", former Director of Data Science Andrew Therriault began in a tweet responding to Clinton's slur. But there is also an emerging divide inside the Democratic Party about whether her continued presence on the national political stage is helping her party move forward.

She was the one who premised her entire general election strategy on the idea that once voters knew who Trump was and what he said, they would have no choice but to vote for her. "They are a threat", Mrs Clinton said. In a conversation with Wild author Cheryl Strayed at Book Expo of America on Thursday night, Clinton revealed that her favorite childhood book series - the Nancy Drew series - was a huge inspiration in her life.

It was in response to another message President Trump had posted which slammed Mrs Clinton, calling her "crooked" and a "terrible candidate".

In earlier remarks about the election at an event last month, Clinton cited a letter former FBI Director James Comey had written to Congress to announced the re-opening of an investigation into her emails as secretary of state as one item that derailed her presidential bid. In fact, we now know they begged her to campaign there.

A bitter Hillary Clinton sat back in her red Star Trek dentist chair and casually blamed the DNC for her election loss.

Clinton couldn't fill high school cafeterias, while Trump filled arenas.

Speaking in front of an audience of about 1,000, Clinton did not hold back on her thoughts about her former rival's administration. "I had to inject money into it. the DNC, to keep it going". Her daughter Chelsea, who cheerfully but persistently trolls the Trump administration on Twitter, told The View that her mom was getting by with "a little Chardonnay maybe and a lot of Charlotte, thankfully", mentioning her 2-year-old daughter.

Was she really such a awful candidate?

Clinton also addressed what it takes to mount a presidential campaign: "In our system, it doesn't matter who you or what you've done, how qualified you are. I found when I started the campaign that I had to say in practically every one of my speeches, 'Barack Obama saved the economy and he doesn't get the credit he deserves.' I had to say that because people had been told differently". "I don't have any reason to have any idea", Clinton said.
