Grande performed throughout the show, even collaborating with others onstage.

Marcus Mumford of Mumford and Sons opened the charity concert with a minute's silence in memory of the victims of both massacres.

In an interview with the BBC, Cyrus said she thought the "Into You" singer had found her calling in organizing the event. I love you so so much. "Everybody say, 'We honor you.' Everybody say, 'We love you'".

Grande closed the show by inviting all the other performers on stage to help her sing her 2014 hit "One Last Time", before she closed with a moving solo version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

Nicki went to Instagram Sunday (June 4) to speak on Grande's headline-generating event.

Grande thanked those in attendance.

'And then she told me Olivia would have wanted to hear the hits. "When you look into the audience at my shows, you see a attractive, diverse, pure, happy crowd". "Would you agree that love always wins?" "God is in the midst, and he loves you and he is here for you".

The outspoken journalist called out the singer two weeks ago after she flew back to the United States immediately after a suicide bomber detonated an explosive inside Manchester Arena, where Grande had just played a concert.

"Manchester, your bravery is our hope", Braun said. We had a different show planned and we had a rehearsal yesterday and we changed everything'. "We plan to honor them with courage, bravery and defiance in the face of fear".

Braun said a TV broadcasting the concert was set up at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, where some victims were still recovering.

Earlier in the evening, Cyrus sang "Happy" alongside Pharrell Williams.

Ariana Grande led the tribute with more than 60,000 people in attendance at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

Coldplay were also a crowd favorite, performing well-known songs like "Viva La Vida" and "Fix You".

The all-star show was held to remember the victims of the suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert.

The concert had a somber tone as it was a day after seven people were killed and 48 injured when three men drove into a crowd and began attacking people with knives in London.

If that anecdote didn't have you reaching for some Kleenex, perhaps this clip of a group of security guards dancing along with young concertgoers will do it for you.
