Bill Simmons' Game of Thrones aftershow is on the move. Instead, the show's hosts in Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan will be hosting via Twitter and Periscope a new program entitled Talk the Thrones, which is going to stream following each season 7 episode. The impermanence of life is one of the fundamental ideas that's shaped both George R.R. Martin's books and HBO's series, but, as is often the case, it can be hard to recall just how many people have died over the course of the story so far. The duo, who share the Ringer podcast The Watch, previously hosted Thrones recap podcast Watch the Thrones for Grantland.

Among the dozen or so shots, another one shows maester-in-training Sam Tarly (John Bradley) undertaking an operation of some sort after he is seen dressed in blood-covered overall. Before, we'd have one or two showstopping, major episodes per season.

The news comes after HBO canceled Simmons' weekly talk show Any Given Wednesday after just four months on the air.

Season seven of Game of Thrones will premiere in the United States on July 16, and it will be simulcast on Sky Atlantic from 2am on July 17. "It's the natural evolution of what we had already established".
