Cameron Diaz gushes over husband: 'I feel so lucky'

Cameron Diaz needed a break from Hollywood.

But on Sunday the 44-year-old blonde beauty made an appearance at close friend Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP seminar in Culver City, California.

Diaz has no upcoming films on her schedule and showed no signs of changing that.

Much to the dismay of her fans, Diaz has not announced any new projects for 2017 so far.

Cameron Diaz hasn't been in a Hollywood film since her role in the 2014 version of the musical Annie - which co-starred Rose Byrne, Jamie Foxx and Quvenzhané Wallis - despite the fact that she's one of the most popular and highest paid movie stars in Tinseltown.

Diaz didn't really say anything about being sister-in-law to erstwhile star of "The Simple Life", Nicole Richie (who is married to Benji's twin brother Joel, weird).

"I have so many favourite apps; I think the most popular app in our house is Postmates (delivery service) - my children are obsessed with it, as am I, I have to say", she gushes to US news show Extra. And there's a really distinct difference between husbands and boyfriends. For her, it just so happened that she was in her forties when she met her life partner, Benji.

Diaz went on to explain that what makes Madden different from many men is that he treats her as a human, and not an object. "We're totally two peas in a pod".

She also added that both of them rely on each other's strengths and they complement each other better. Towards the end of the discussion, the Charlie's Angels star was asked, "What was it that kept you from getting married until you were 40?" The couple tied the knot in January 2015 after seven months of dating.

"I never experienced that before", she continued. "I'd never been loved in that way", on the support she has received from Madden. I look at him every day and he inspires me - he works so hard. She feels really, really lucky.
