Forza Motorsport 7 has received a new trailer and a release date of October the 3rd these were announced in Microsoft’s E3 conference

Monday evening, Shrine Auditorium in LA played host to yet another unprecedented thing for comic book superhero fans, Sony PlayStation ended their 2017 E3 Showcase with Stan Lee's and Steve Ditko's greatest creation Spider-Man.

House also revealed that Sony is considering expanding its PS4 ecosystem and is looking to broaden its PlayStation VR content collection.

"PlayStation is home to all the biggest and best game franchises in the world", Sony Interactive Entertainment worldwide studios chairman Shawn Layden said during a rapid-fire presentation of video trailers.

As of June 11th, Sony has sold 60.4 PlayStation 4 consoles to consumers. Another impressive figure shared by the company was that PS4 users spend more than 600 million hours in total per week on the platform (as of March 2017).

Sony also noted it has 26.4 million paid PlayStation Plus subscribers worldwide as of the end of March, 2017.

Little is known about the remake, but Engadget says players can expect the new game "to be much better" than the HD remake from 2011 as it will utilise the PS4's more powerful hardware.

The PlayStation 4's closest rival, the Xbox One, had moved 27 million units as of January 2017.

The new PS4 game has been created to provide "one of the most artistic, emotional, and celebrated games ever made available for a new audience" its developers explain.

Last week, Sony revealed that it has sold one million PSVR headsets to date, meaning there is already a sizeable market for new VR titles.

There were also many other new games and older titles with many new gameplays and improved features showcased at the event. God of War will be a PS4 exclusive and will launch in early 2018.

Mr Layden said PlayStation was at the "forefront" of interactive entertainment because of its consoles and VR, and that "it has never been a better time to be a gamer".
