The 47-year-old former model moved into the White House, the official residence of the first family of the United States, this weekend. The news of the move was also confirmed by her communications director Stephanie Grisham.

The pair arrived at the White House with multiple pieces of luggage aboard Marine One on Sunday afternoon. It also pointed toward a coming move to the White House.

President Donald Trump's wife, Melania, and youngest son, Barron, have moved into the White House, 4½ months after the president was sworn into office, the first lady's spokeswoman said Sunday. Instead, he turned the attention of his 32.1 million Twitter followers to his eldest daughter Ivanka's appearance on "Fox and Friends" Monday morning. Ivanka Trump has taken a White House job as an adviser to her father.

The move will also no doubt be welcomed by New Yorkers, who have footed a hefty security bill keeping the First Family safe in Trump Tower.

Before reaching the capital Melania and Barron descended the steps of Air Force One alongside President Trump at Joint Base Andrews, with the youngster - decked in a tee-shirt that read "The Expert" - playing with a fidget spinner.
