Katy Perry reacts to Taylor Swift's return to streaming

Pop singer Katy Perry apologized for appropriating black and Japanese culture during a 4-day "Big Brother"-style livestream promoting her new album "Witness".

During a concert that went out on her Witness World Wide YouTube live-stream on Monday, Katy sung "God bless you on your journey, oh baby girl", instead of "Don't you come for me".

Asked on Today about whether she believed there was any malice behind the move, Perry has said that she couldn't be sure of Swift's intentions.

"I forgive her, and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her..."

"I haven't done it for a long time and I'm not going to show everyone now", she said. While the beginning of her hour-long therapy session seemed staged to a degree, there were moments where you could tell she was being honest and that she's a real person with real problems.

"I'm ashamed because of course Katy Perry is so strong, but it's hard because I feel ashamed that I would even have those thoughts and feel that low or that depressed", said Perry, the most followed person on Twitter with almost 100 million followers.

Katy stated that Diplo was her third best lover with John Mayer getting top spot and most recent beau Orlando Bloom landing in second place.

"I feel ashamed that I would have those thoughts, feel that low and that depressed", she continued.

Swift, one of the most prominent foes of Spotify, suddenly released her music on all streaming platforms Friday at the exact moment Perry's Witness came out. "You know what I'm saying?"

Perry's sentiments echoed an earlier interview she did with Huffington during her live stream. But if you ask me, from a distance, and from my couch, Katy Perry is having a psycho-follicle problem and it's all happening on her head.

That wasn't all she had to say about her fellow singer.

Although the A-lister previously denied that the hit is about Miz Swift, this point will be hard to deny these days after making one notable change. And I've said that on the record. "And she told me about the power in black women's hair and how lovely it is, and the struggle".

And the DJ fired back at his former girlfriend on Twitter after hearing what she said about him to James Corden.

At a concert Monday in downtown L.A., she changed the words in her tune "Swish, Swish" to something that could be seen as a more positive comment about her fellow pop star.
