Stoke to swoop for Hull starlet

Hull City's Josh Tymon in action

Hull fans face a massive blow as Daily Telegraph journalist John Percy took to Twitter this morning to confirm Stoke have made an approach for promising youngster Josh Tymon.

While Klopp is looking for a quality option at left-back to relieve James Milner, who can then be deployed in the midfield, Tymon can be a viable option as a cover and to provide competition to whichever player ends up arriving at Anfield.

Hull were relegated from the Premier League, despite new Watford head coach Marco Silva's best efforts after taking over in January, and are facing a battle to keep home of Tymon, according to ESPN.

The 20-year-old England worldwide has recorded 12 appearances for the Tigers over the course of last season, and he showed impressive qualities when his services were called upon. However that doesn't mean a move away from the KCOM would be beneficial to him at this stage of his career.

Josh Tymon is a product of the Tigers' academy setup and has progressed rapidly to be a regular part in the first-team. He has the ability to play in the first-team of a Championship side, so a year or two with Hull, to get precious senior minutes, will be invaluable.

However, Liverpool's need for left-back has now seen them join the race as well.

That's the case here as Tymon has yet to agree a professional contract, and being considered one of the top prospects in England, it doesn't look particularly good for the Tigers.
