TV presenter sorry about misjudging Ariana Grande

Sunday's concert, to honour and raise funds for the victims and families affected by the Manchester attack, aired to over 50 countries, including Brazil, the US, Germany, China, the Caribbean Islands and Australia. Grande appeared throughout the three hour concert, performing duets with numerous artists, including a cover of Crowded House's "Don't Dream It's Over" with Cyrus.

"So happy to see that last night's concert in Manchester proved that love always prevails", he writes on the social media site. One was Grande's highly talked-about performance of her song "My Everything" with the local Parrs Wood High School choir.

The song, performed at the benefit by Coldplay and Ariana Grande, has resurfaced on the United Kingdom music charts and become an unofficial anthem symbolizing Manchester's resilience since the attack.

As well as the TV coverage, viewers in the United Kingdom and around the world could watch the concert on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Almost two weeks ago, the Manchester Arena became the site of a deadly terrorist bombing that killed 22 people and injured at least 59 others.

She performed on Sunday alongside her pop star pals Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Little Mix and Manchester native Liam Gallagher. She visited the victims of the attack and promised huge support, saying that compassion, kindness, love, strength is the right answer to what happened on May 22. The concert was confirmed last week on a Twitter post by the singer. Those who were at the concert on May 22 received free tickets for Sunday's event.

Since the attack on Ariana's concert at the Manchester Arena staggering $12 million (£9.6 million) has been raised by members of the public.

The total of viewers for the concert is not yet known since it aired on many platforms across the world.
