Deadlines and Cancellation: Unless otherwise notified, deadline for ad placement is Tuesday at noon (prior to the date of publication). Deadline for cancellation of ads is also Tuesday at noon (prior to the date of publication). Cancellations after deadline will be charged 50% of the ad price.

Accuracy: Approval of final proof will be recognized as an agreement that the ad is correct. The Oak Ridge Observer will not assume liability for omissions or errors of approved ads. During a multiple ad contract,
credit will not be given for errors after the first insertion. Claims must be made within two days of publication.
Placement: Position of ad will be determined with every effort to maximize effectiveness. Specific ad locations can be requested for a charge of $25.

Right of Refusal: The publisher reservers the right to edit, refuse or cancel any advertisement without  explanation.

Payment: All ads must be paid in full within 30 days (NET 30) from invoice date. Accounts with balances that are 30 days or older are assessed a FINANCE CHARGE of 1.5% per month until paid in full.
Payments are accepted by cash, check, VISA or MASTERCARD.
Political advertising must be paid in advance.

*Tearsheets: Tearsheets must be requested in advance of your ad’s publication. They are available, free of charge, for all advertisements 15 column inches or larger. Tearsheets requested after publication or for ads smaller that 15 column inches are subject to a $3.00 charge, if they are available.

Submitting Files: Advertisements may be submitted in digital format
to advertising@oakridgeobserver.com. PDF’s are preferred.
